“Jesus, lover of human salvation,
draw all souls to the divine life.
May the greatness of Your mercy be praised
here on earth and in eternity.”
St. Faustina (Diary, 1466)
Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ – Members and Volunteers of “Faustinum”!
Every year, the Church invites us to participate actively in the celebration of the Paschal Triduum, reminding us that the event of the Cross and Resurrection continues and draws everything to Life.
In these days we will experience in a special way the power of this attraction, in accordance with the promise of Jesus: “When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself” (Jn 12:32).
The One Who overcame death by responding to hatred with love, transforming evil into good, wants to draw us to Himself, because only He can give meaning to every part of our history, including the most painful one, turning it into a blessing.
The One Who loved us to the end wants to draw us to Himself, because only He, the Source of Love and Mercy, can satisfy the innermost longing of our heart for total and unconditional love.
Nobody but the Exalted Christ – Crucified and Risen, gives us the certainty that we are loved, but also nobody can draw us to Life, stimulating us and enabling us to mercy.
May we, during this year’s Passover, let ourselves be attracted to His merciful love!
Let the greatness of God’s mercy shine in us!
